The headquarters of le 101, which will receive the artists, is at the edge of the village of Longueil, between land and sea, in a Norman house overlooking the valley of the river Saâne. This unique environment will favour the artist's involvement with the area and allow for exploration of new ways of working and encounters with the population. 

We will place particular emphasis on links between culture and territory, with culture enhancing the territory, the territory throwing new light on artistic work, and artistic expression creating an original and seminal link between artists and inhabitants. 

Artists, through their expertise and knowledge, can pass on a great deal to the public, offering an external and internal view of artistic creation. They can also bring a fresh perspective to a local context. 

The production of work(s) (in the material sense of the term) is not necessarily the intended goal, the main intention of the association being to create an original situation, a unique experience, and to generate residency projects that involve the presence of the artists and integrate them as much as possible with the context and the inhabitants.
